Class 2 is our Year 3 and Year 4 class. In Class 2, we pride ourselves on being a great team, but we also value individuality. Everyone in our class has a voice; we treat each other as equals and with good manners and respect. We listen to each other and appreciate that we can learn a lot from each other. We develop resilience with a view to understanding that nobody is perfect – we do not say practice makes perfect – we say practice makes progress. We try to approach all aspects of life with positivity and determination – with a “have-a-go attitude”.
As individuals we aim to recognise and reach our own potential and as a team, we aim to support each other to do this. We want our classroom to be a place where we can all develop and become better versions of ourselves as time goes by.
Throughout Class 2 we develop learning strategies and more independence in preparation for moving into Class 3 and beyond. We love to use our initiative and creativity!
Throughout the week the children study a broad curriculum and have many opportunities to enjoy the wonderful outdoor environment around the school.
