Blue Planet Aquarium Visit

After a two hour long journey on the coach, the aquarium was worth the time.

We arrived into the entrance hall to be greeted by a shark’s mouth up above us.  We had some time to explore the aquarium before having a spot of lunch.  The moving floor underneath all of the sea creatures was quite spectacular.  The children enjoyed seeing underneath some huge shark, stingrays, eels and much much more.

All the children managed to see the stingrays being fed!  They were fed on squid.  The older pupils then went on to watch the diver’s presentation, which fascinated them no end.  The children’s ‘Pirate Playpark’ was great fun for all ages, and Mr Lawrenson even came to the rescue and bought everyone an ice lolly of their choice to save us from the heat.  The Reception children enjoyed the challenge set by Mrs Lewis to see how many different tree frogs they could spot.

All tired on our journey back, we had some younger children having a nap and probably dreaming about all of the animals they met for the day.  A great experience all round.
