Year 2 have been lucky enough to be selected for outdoor classroom learning every Friday with Mrs Lewis.
So far, we have made ‘hapa zome’ tie dye – which is a Japanese art form of using natural dye to make pictures. you can see the results at the back of our middle classroom downstairs. We have also enjoyed hunting for natural items to build a house for field mice! We made little shelters from leaves, grass and other things.
Next week, we will be blindfolding our partners and talking them through making a shape or picture using a skipping rope! This will build trust in the team.
The outdoor classroom is a great place for being creative and imaginative whilst getting the best out of all of our learning too! Keep it up Year 2!
