Seed Dispersal

Class 2 have been busy bees (excuse the pun) showing how seed dispersal works!

We know that seeds can be carried, by animals, like bees, or sheep or even birds…  Seeds can move in the wind, or get carried by water and people to different homes.  Birds also eat old seeds, then if they go to the toilet, the seed then grows into a new flower at the place of toileting!

Wherever they land, if they take root, that is where they fully grow.  Take a look at our clever models that show different ways that seeds can move.
