School Council Elections (coming up)…

The first week of September is dawning on us and we are VERY excited!

The School Council, I am sure you would agree, did a tremendous job last year.  They raised awareness of charities, news and various world wide events as well as helping out with Rota Kids and planting bulbs for polio.  Non uniform days were organised by the amazing group of children as well.

So, September 2018 is the month where we will gather a new School Council together to represent our school for the academic year of 2018 into 2019:

If you think your child would like to be in with a chance of becoming a School Councillor, then all they have to do is receive an election form from myself (Mrs Lewis).  All they have to do is write a short paragraph up to a page of their interests, hobbies, what they could bring to the school council and why they want to be a member.  We do suggest the members of the school council are year 1 and upwards as they know the school and understand the routine – Reception children will have the same opportunities from next year and on.  New members will receive an official School Council badge.

Many thanks!
